This venture is about creating a catalog of temples around the world. There are thousands of them: ancient ones, popular ones and lesser-known ones. We are starting with our own country, India, where temples are found in every village. As the Tamil saying goes, do not live in a town that has no temple.
A kshetram is a sacred place: a temple, its tank and its deities together. Darshanam is seeing, and being seen by, the divine.
